iAcquire ("we", "our", or "us") operates iacquire.net. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our service. Please read it carefully. By accessing or using iAcquire, you agree to the terms of this policy.

We collect information in the following ways:

• Account data: When you register, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name.
• Usage data: We automatically collect information about your interactions with the service — pages viewed, filters applied, listings saved, and time spent. This is used to improve the product.
• Payment data: Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your full card number. We retain only what Stripe shares with us: last 4 digits, card brand, and subscription status.
• Communications: If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence.
• Cookies and analytics: We use Vercel Analytics (privacy-friendly, no fingerprinting) and session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising trackers or sell your data to third parties.

We use your data exclusively to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the iAcquire platform
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, receipts, password resets)
• Send product update emails — you can unsubscribe at any time
• Monitor platform security and prevent abuse

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records for tax compliance, which we keep for 7 years).

We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:

• Supabase — database and authentication (hosted on AWS)
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — hosting and analytics

Listing data displayed on iAcquire is aggregated from publicly accessible business broker websites. We do not share your personal information with these sources.

We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser settings can be used to disable cookies, but this may prevent you from logging in.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to or restrict certain processing

We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest via Supabase/AWS, and row-level security on all database queries. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

iAcquire is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we will notify registered users by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
